| Early EditionOne of the 'Big Game' Lottery Winners Sold in MichiganAired May 10, 2000 - 7:00 a.m. ETTHIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: The "Big Game" lottery, $350 million at stake last night. And it appears that someone's dreams have come true. We have a winner. In fact, we have two winners today. One of the winning tickets was sold in Michigan, the other lucky numbers come from Illinois. Now, here are the winning numbers from last nights drawing: 33, 2, 1, 12, 37, and the all important Big Game number is 4. CNN's Ed Garsten is in Michigan this morning. He joins us on the phone. He's got more from Macomb County and the store near Utica where that winning ticket in Michigan was sold this morning -- Ed. ED GARSTEN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Leon. Boy did George Gasob (ph), the owner of Mr. K's Party Shoppe, get a surprise early this morning. About 2:30, lottery officials woke him up and said, hey, you're store sold the winner, and he's been up ever since. He said that things have just been wild for the last couple of weeks, ever since the jackpot has been going up. They sold 5000 tickets yesterday, 12,000 in the last week. He said, at this point, he really doesn't have any idea who the winner is. That's the question everyone's been asking Mr. Gasob, who is it? who is it? He said: I really don't know, but I have had several people spend upwards of $300, $400 in one shot, trying to win that jackpot. So his store is jammed now with reporters, curious people wanting to know where this magical party store is, which has become sort of a lucky store. He's owned the store for about seven years and said there was a big winner in the lottery before he owned it and thinks, yes, maybe his store is charmed. So everyone's here at Mr. K's waiting to see if the winner's going to drop by. He said that the state guarantees him a commission of $2000, that is as much as he's allowed to get from the state. We asked him are you hoping that the winner will share the wealth, and he said: You know, that's up to the person; I'm just happy for that person. So, Leon, we're standing by, hoping that the lucky person will come by, and we can find out who that big winner is. HARRIS: Ed, keep an eye out for the person driving up in a Lamborghini.
