Break-in Reported at Home of John and Patsy Ramsey

Aired February 20, 2001 - 12:42 p.m. ET

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

ROGER COSSACK, LEGAL CNN ANALYST: Let me bring you up to date on the JonBenet Ramsey story. Apparently, there was a call to 911 at 11:12 a.m. from someone who is identified as saying that he was Mr. Ramsey, and claiming that a man had broken into his home and that he had been tied up by a tall -- I quote -- "black man."

There is nothing further. The man said that the man who broke in fled the scene in a gray Chevy Cavalier. I repeat, John Ramsey allegedly has called 911 and said that his home was broken into and that he was tied up by a tall black man who fled the scene in a gray Chevy Cavalier.
