KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Well, if you just can't seem to get out of bed this morning don't worry about it because we're going to bring you all the inspiration that you're going to need for this Sunday. Grammy winning CeCe Wynans with her armload of gold and platinum records in tow is here in the studio to share her new CD with her power packed voice to help us all get our praise on this morning. Good morning.

CECE WYNANS, MUSICIAN: Good morning.

PHILLIPS: Great to see you.

WYNANS: Good to see you, too.

PHILLIPS: Now you're here in Atlanta because of Share the Vision. Why don't you tell us about that first?

WYNANS: Share the Vision is a salvation that I have and I thank God for it. And people can get all of the information that they need on the back of the CD. But we help existing ministries, we help teen suicide, we help teen -- young girls -- My Sister's Keeper.

So, we're involved in a lot of good things. And, also, this week is CBA Week here in Atlanta. So -- which is the Christian Book Association. So we'll be singing here Wednesday night at Pastor Long's church. So we've got a lot to do here in Atlanta.

PHILLIPS: All right, now, CeCe, you can sing R&B, urban, contemporary -- anything -- but you pick a focus of gospel and Christian. Why? And do me a favor and lift the mike a little bit.

WYNANS: It's my life. Gospel music is more than just entertainment -- it's something that past the years -- and ministers to the heart and it's giving life to people. So I know it's my calling to do this.

PHILLIPS: When did you know you had a gift?

WYNANS: Well, I've been singing all my life but I think I knew when I was probably about 16 that this would be my life long goal -- is to reach as many people as I can with the good news of Jesus Christ.

PHILLIPS: And, of course, besides the good Lord, do you have a hero?

WYNANS: Do I have a hero? Of course, I have several heroes but I would say my mom would be my number one hero because she is a strong woman who is so sweet and so soft and she's walked the life of faith -- she's a faith woman. And because of her I live the life that I live.

PHILLIPS: Well, you're walking in her footsteps. What are you going to sing for us now?

WYNANS: We're going to sing our single that's coming out and that's "More Than What I Wanted."

PHILLIPS: All right, take it away. CeCe Wynans, thank you so much.

WYNANS: Thank you.
