ROGER COSSACK, CNN LEGAL ANALYST: Let's go out to Modesto. Chandra Levy's father, Dr. Levy, is making a statement. Let's go there now.

(JOINED IN PROGRESS)

DR. ROBERT LEVY, CHANDRA LEVY'S FATHER: ... down and, you know, just the same thing unfortunately.

QUESTION: There's a report out of Washington that some of the tenants in the building where your daughter lived have not been as forthcoming in their response to the questions being asked by the police department. Are you aware of this? Do you have any comment on that?

LEVY: No, I didn't know about it until now. But hopefully, you know, over the last three months they've been interviewed a few times so hopefully they give information.

QUESTION: Dr. Levy, I know that, you know, every day is a struggle to -- of, you know, wondering about Chandra.

LEVY: Yes.

QUESTION: Also, can you describe -- you know, it's also -- is it an effort to keep this in front of -- in the media, in front of people's faces or...

LEVY: Yes.

QUESTION: Describe sort of your strategy.

LEVY: We just want to try to find her and find out what happened. You know, so what you have to try to do for your -- you know, for my daughter, that's what we try so...

QUESTION: But that means doing what sometimes? I mean is it difficult sometimes and you have to force yourself to do things that you don't feel like doing?

LEVY: Well, you know, like that, you know, traveling and -- but you know, we'd do anything for her. But just keep the hope and the prayers out there. And you know we just have to keep that up.

QUESTION: I mean is it a struggle coming out here every day and talking to us?

LEVY: Well, not really. You know, you just do anything to find out and get her back. That's what we do.

QUESTION: You know, I noticed yesterday you did release a couple more photos and a video.

LEVY: Yes.

QUESTION: You know, why did you do that? Now, is that part of a strategy to keep...

LEVY: No, we were asked to. And you know, we have -- we had some more so we did it.

QUESTION: What's it been like for you to go back to the office and to see your patients? Has that -- is that something that's been a real positive experience and are you able to maybe take your mind off Chandra somewhat?

LEVY: Oh, yes, somewhat. Yes, I can concentrate on the patients and they know me and I know them. And it's good for both of us. I get to see my colleagues again and the office people, so yes.

QUESTION: One more, does it concern you, though, that the interest might begin to wane in search...

LEVY: It certainly can. You know, it's a natural thing to happen but you know we still have our goals to find her and find out what happened. So, we'll keep going anyway.

QUESTION: Last question, is there anything that you'd like to say to the millions of people around the world that may be watching you right now?

LEVY: You know, just keep the prayers up and the hopes. And again, if people have good information, you know, I'd like to have them send it in or call in. And they've been doing that. And you just need one piece of information that really shows us. So far, we haven't had it but we hope. Thank you.

QUESTION: Thank you, Doctor.
