STEPHEN FRAZIER, CNN ANCHOR: I'm Stephen Frazier in Atlanta. There's breaking news our of Ohio tonight, where officials say three men were killed and dozens of people were injured after an antique engine exploded at a fair near Akron. It happened shortly before 7:00 local time.

Emergency crews are now at the Medina County Fair attending to the hurt, transporting them to hospitals, sometimes using helicopters for that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is a piece of antique -- an old antique, steam-engine tractor that is routinely here. And they were starting it up and running it as they always do, and the tractor exploded, so -- there was no fire afterwards, there was -- the injuries were all immediate, and in great number, as we've told you.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

FRAZIER: Some of those injuries are considered critical. Stay with CNN throughout the evening for updates on this story.
