LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: We want to give folks some more information that we've been able to cull on that train collision that we saw in Chicago. There you see the pictures -- we're getting it from our affiliate WFLD. These are live pictures, I do believe.

And this is a purple line train which rear-ended a brown line train. As we understand it, both trains were southbound. This occurred just northwest of the downtown loop and, as you can see, according to the clock it is just after rush hour in Chicago, which is an hour past -- behind Eastern time. So it's 9:41 Chicago time. So the trains were quite full at that time.

We understand that there are perhaps 10 injured. We've seen reports of only 10 injuries. We've seen no reports of any fatalities or anything like that. We understand that there are shuttle buses that are on the way right now to retrieve some of these people and they're going to have a tough time or a tricky time of getting people off the trains because this is on one of those elevated lines, as Chicago is famous for.

And you can see that -- you can barely make that out here in this picture that we're getting in right now. This collision is near the intersection -- is at the intersection of Division and Sedgwick for those of you who are familiar with the city of Chicago.

We'll keep our eyes on this. And as you can see, there's no sign of any fire or anything like that, so the scene does not appear to be one of imminent danger. But we'll keep eyes on this one and we'll bring you any developments as they come in.
