LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: We are just, in the last couple of moments, been able to get some confirmation by CNN of that report that we mentioned moments ago from the Associated Press about Microsoft's appeals to its being found guilty of antitrust violations.

We understand now that the Federal Appeal's Court has thrown out Microsoft's request that the entire case against it be thrown out because the judge that found them guilty of antitrust violations has been found to be biased against Microsoft.

Now that that's happened, this appeal being thrown out of court, now the way has been cleared for this case to be assigned to another judge who's mission is going to be to assign the punishment for Microsoft for being guilty of those antitrust violations. So CNN has been able to confirm that story.
