ANAND NAIDOO, CNN ANCHOR: It's no secret no matter where you go people are constantly searching for ways to stay young. There is no shortage of methods to combat the effects of aging.
ASIEH NAMDAR, CNN ANCHOR: From exercise to plastic surgery to anti-aging creams -- we thought we had heard it all, until now. Spain's TeleCinco takes us to a village in Spain where some say some may find the quest to feel young hard to digest.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
NURIA FRESNEDA, TELECINCO CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): (UNINTELLIGIBLE) is a small village in northwest of Spain has an infallible recipe against old age. They recovered one-million-year tradition inherited since the Romans.
They hunt and eat wild snakes. They say it's the best for feeling young forever, and in addition to it, it tastes really good.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE (through translator): Whenever you are around the woods, you can find them, and you have to hunt them quickly.
FRESNEDA: Santiago remembers when he was a child, he listened to the eldest people in the village how they organized the hunts.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE (through translator): It tastes good. We don't eat more, because we don't hunt more.
FRESNEDA: (UNINTELLIGIBLE), then they cut the tail and the head. Then, it's time for taking out the skin. Everything is used, they say that's why (UNINTELLIGIBLE) is the best against rheumatism.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE (through translator): It is all grease, it is used in the medicine.
FRESNEDA: Manuel is in charge of cooking the snakes. He only cuts it and dresses it with salt, garlic and parsley, then it is fried with hot oil. They say snakes are worse now. They found two-meter- long snakes a long time ago. They celebrated their hunt, gathering together and enjoying the meal. They cannot hunt every day.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE (through translator): It's a very special taste. You need to try it. It's difficult to explain. It's really good in between meet and fish. FRESNEDA: Only recommended for the most daring people, the reward is maybe the ever-lasting youth.
