COLIN POWELL, SECRETARY OF STATE: We have not made a determination yet as to who is responsible for yesterday's attack. But we thought, as we gather information and as we look at possible sources of the attack, it would be useful to point out to the Pakistani leadership at every level that we are looking for and expecting their fullest cooperation and their help and support as we conduct this investigation and as we generate more information.

MANN: In a statement issued Thursday, Pakistan pledged full cooperation with the United States.

RALITSA VASSILEVA, CNN ANCHOR: While the world's attentions was focused on the U.S., Israeli tanks and bulldozers rolled into the West Bank for a second straight day. The Israeli military says it attacked several Palestinian outposts in the West Bank in an effort to disrupt terrorist activity in the area.

Witnesses say residents of Jenin exchanged fire with Israeli troops, who destroy the police compound they first attacked Tuesday. Palestinian officials say the attacks were unprovoked and accuse Israel of using the U.S. tragedy to divert attention from their attacks on them.

MANN: Saudi Arabia joins several other Arab states in expressing sympathy for the U.S., this as investigators disclosed that at least two of the men suspected in the attacks were Saudi nationals.
