WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: I'm Wolf Blitzer in Washington. We're going to get to the "CROSSFIRE" town meeting at George Washington University shortly, but first, we're standing by for the first pitch at Shea Stadium, where the New York Mets will be playing the Atlanta Braves.

Let's dip into coverage from our sister network, from -- actually, from the Fox Sports Network, and see what's going on.

ANNOUNCER: Gentlemen, it's your pitch.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

ANNOUNCER: And ladies and gentlemen with us tonight, seated behind players, our distinguished guests: City Council Speaker Peter Milloy and New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

CROWD (chanting): Rudy, Rudy, Rudy!

ANNOUNCER: And now, ladies and gentlemen, the 2001 New York Mets!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

BLITZER: And the game is about to begin, Mayor Rudy Giuliani getting a very warm reception from those Mets fans, even though he's, of course, a well-known Yankee fan himself.
