BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Want to go back to Washington. CNN's Kate Snow tracking the latest from there with new developments once again.

Kate, what do you have?

KATE SNOW, CNN CONGRESSIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Bill, we've been talking for the last couple of days about 31 people testing positive for anthrax exposure. We have gotten a bit of a correction: It is now 30 people who have proven positive for being exposed to anthrax. That one extra person proving to be a false positive. So that's some good news there. Only 30 people testing positive for anthrax exposure. All 30 of them working in or around senator Tom Daschle's office in the Senate Hart office building.

And one other piece of pretty good news, Bill, is that they have gotten back 1,300 negative results now on people who had nasal swabs taken from them; 1,300 people showing negative for exposure to anthrax.

Bill, back to you.

HEMMER: All right, we'll take everyone we can get on the negative side as that number goes down. Kate, thanks -- Daryn.

DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: As that number goes up, apparently -- goes down, apparently another one is going up. And that is CNN is getting word that another person has been infected with skin anthrax. This person working for the "New York Post." Very few details right now coming through on that. But once again, this is another anthrax infection in New York City; an employee of the "New York Post" newspaper. We'll have our Jason Carroll working on that, and get you more on that in just a moment.
