D.C. Postal Worker Diagnosed With Inhalation Anthrax

JEANNE MESERVE, CNN ANCHOR: The Associated Press is reporting that a D.C. postal worker has been diagnosed with inhalation anthrax. He is the third such person to be reported to have contracted this form of the disease. The unidentified man had checked into a suburban hospital on Friday. He was diagnosed on Sunday morning.

The Associated Press quoting Dr. Ivan Walks, the chief health officer for the District of Columbia. Walks saying right now he is clinically stable and being treated.

This, of course, just the latest development in a series of anthrax scares. CNN is covering this story; we'll bring you more information when it's available.
