JOIE CHEN, CNN ANCHOR: Back to the CNN newsroom. We want to take you quickly to Goshen, Indiana. Right now the Indiana state police spokesman, Brent Klemp (ph), is speaking with reporters there. Let's listen.

BRENT KLEMP, SPOKESMAN, INDIANA STATE POLICE: We are aware of all of the agencies involved. We have state police, Elkhart County, of course, Goshen. And again, I want to stress that Goshen, this is their investigation. We, as state police, are assisting them, as are all of the other agencies. The ATF is here. Who did I miss? The FBI is here.

So right now, we're trying to put pieces together. We are trying to get information for you. We'll have the chief there at 7:00. Hopefully, we'll have a lot more details for you. Of course you are aware it's ongoing.

QUESTION: Can you clarify, OK, you say you have one deceased inside the building. Was that an employee?

KLEMP: We believe that was an employee, at this time.

QUESTION: While the second deceased, who you believe was the gunman?

KLEMP: Correct. That is the information that was relayed to me by some of the officers that are doing the investigation. Again, that's just initial information. So hopefully by 7:00 we'll have a little more for you.

QUESTION: And do you have the identity of the gunman?

KLEMP: Yes, I'm sure they do. That's not being released.

QUESTION: The critical person, was that the person who was brought out early on?

KLEMP: That's correct.

QUESTION: By a squad car?

KLEMP: I believe that's correct.

QUESTION: So you believe you'll have three to five, what you call, walking wounded?

KLEMP: Right. And I have not been to the scene. And I was talking to the chief, and of course he has his hands full. I can't tell you what condition they're in. But that was the term that was used, walking wounded, which to me, says they're not in critical condition. They are being treated.

QUESTION: Just to clarify, can you go over the fatalities one more time?

KLEMP: That was an initial report. I have no information on that. I really don't.

QUESTION: Can you go over the fatalities one more time, please?

KLEMP: At this time, we believe there is one person who was an employee, who was in the building who was -- is deceased. We also believe that the gunman is in the building, and is he deceased.

QUESTION: Was he an employee?

KLEMP: We want to let everybody know that the building is secure, the area is secure. We had schools locked down, other businesses locked down. People can go home. The area is safe.

QUESTION: Do you know if the critical person was transported to Fort Wayne...

CHEN: CNN continuing coverage from Goshen, Indiana.
