DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Want to go back now to our stop story, and that is the evacuation of a terminal at LAX in Los Angeles, the airport there.

Let's bring in Nadine Hernandez. She is with the Los Angeles Police Department. Hello.

NADINE HERNANDEZ, LAPD: Hi. How are you?

KAGAN: Can you tell us about this suspicious container that was found in the Bradley International Terminal?

HERNANDEZ: Well, we know that it was found at approximately 7:30 this morning, and it was described as a suspicious container with no further information. It's not a package or a piece of luggage. It is some type of container. And it was...

KAGAN: Do you know where it was found? Or...

HERNANDEZ: It was found inside of a planter on the upper level of the Bradley International Terminal.

KAGAN: And, who found it? A passenger or a worker?

HERNANDEZ: You know what? That's not too clear at this moment.

KAGAN: So, at this point, this terminal, the Bradley International Terminal has been evacuated. We can see that from the live pictures that we're watching here on our air. What about other terminals within LAX?

HERNANDEZ: You know what? As of now, I've only been informed that the Bradley Terminal was evacuated. I wouldn't be able to tell you about any other terminals or about flights being grounded.

KAGAN: That was my next question.

HERNANDEZ: Yeah.

(LAUGHTER)

KAGAN: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) know about flights in and out of LAX.

HERNANDEZ: Yeah. We wouldn't know. We would have to contact some airport personnel.

KAGAN: And the bomb squad is on the way?

HERNANDEZ: They are at scene, yes. At this moment, they are on scene and they're assessing the situation.

KAGAN: Very good. Well, thank you for the latest information. Nadine Hernandez with the LAPD bringing us the latest on LAX. The Bradley International Terminal has been evacuated. You can see from the live pictures there. Of course, this is where the international flights take off from Los Angeles. Tom Bradley, the former mayor of Los Angeles, who that terminal is named after. We will stay on top of this. Find out more in terms -- if especially flights in and out of LAX have been affected.
