JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: Spectacular fire under way in Compton, California at this hour. That is a supermarket that is on fire. Compton, of course, close to the city of Los Angeles. Let's eavesdrop for a moment on the coverage, live coverage, being provided by KABC television in Los Angeles.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ...quickly it took off and how intense it was. Usually, when a fire starts, it starts somewhat slowly and it has to build to the intensity of this one. This one was a quite an intense blaze within moments of the original call.

CAFFERTY: All right. KABC providing live aerials of a supermarket blaze under way in Compton, California. We have no information as to how the fire may have started. We also have no information as to whether or not there were any injuries, but we will keep an eye on the story, and if we get more information, we will, of course, bring it to you.
