BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Just getting word in from Washington right now, breaking news, now, on the Enron matter. You may recall, a few weeks back, when several members of Congress had threatened to sue the White House trying to get its papers released on the confidential meetings it held with Ken Lay and other members of the Enron corporation. We now know the U.S. congressional agency, the GAO, has sued the White House now, to make it official, to obtain those energy task force records.

Again, this coming from Washington right now. The impact of this will be measured in the coming hours and days, certainly, to come, but apparently it is now official with that suit being filed against the White House. It is our understanding this has never happened before in this form, to sue the White House, but indeed, apparently, it has happened today on this Friday afternoon.
