Abner Louima Convictions Overturned

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Federal appeals court in New York has overturned the convictions of three police officers in the Abner Louima torture case. If you remember that case, that was a case of a Haitian immigrant who was allegedly -- I guess we should say -- sodomized in a police precinct with a broom handle. And three police officers had been convicted in that particular case.

But now we are hearing word from the federal appeals court in New York, "The Associated Press" reporting that those convictions have been overturned.
