KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Five bombing attacks in five days. You have just seen pictures there from Haifa -- the port city in Israel. We have been talking about that bombing attack this morning, which we are told has taken as many as 16 lives -- dozens more injured.

And then just moments ago we received word of another explosion in a Jewish settlement in the West Bank near an emergency medical center -- the settlement of F'rat (ph) in the West Bank.

Three people, we are told, are wounded -- that's according to medics.

But we're going to go to our Jerusalem Bureau Cheif, Mike Hanna, who has been following all of the developments this morning.

Mike, I'm sure you have information with regard to the situation in Haifa. Also, what can you tell us about this recent explosion in the West Bank?

MIKE HANNA, CNN JERUSALEM BUREAU CHIEF: Well, you've given most of the details that we have about that incident in the West Bank that we're just receiving details about at the moment. What I can tell you, though, is that the injury toll in that attack is four people we are hearing from various sources.

The attack happened according to media reports -- Israeli media reports. A Palestinian detinated an explosive device at a medical center at the entrance to the settlement of F'Rat (ph). Four Israelis injured in the explosion. One of them is said to be in a serious condition.

Now, once again, we've been speaking about that massive terror attack in the northern Israeli town of Haifa. There at least 15 people killed.

Also dead is the suicide bomber who police say carried out the attack. Dozens of people were wounded and several of them are said to be in a serious condition.

Now we had conflicting claims of responsibility for that attack earlier on, however, now we have a statement from Hamas -- the militant Hamas organization -- giving the name of the man that carried out the attack -- saying that he was from he West Bank town of Jeannine (ph).

We are now receiving reports indicating that at least 14 people have been injured in that blast of the Jewish settlement of F'Rat (ph).

So ongoing incidents of violence, ongoing conflict.

Israeli forces still in the compound of Yasser Arafat (ph) in Ramallah. They are also deploying, it is reported, in various parts of the West Bank. We had that suicide bombing in Haifa and now within the last few minutes news of another bombing attack -- this time at the entrance to the settlement of F'Rat (ph) in the West Bank.

We've just received reports that at least 14 people were injured in that attack.

PHILLIPS: Jerusalem Bureau Chief Mike Hanna, thank you very much.
