CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: All right, we have more information out of Bethlehem right now. We want to go live there now to talk to Anton Salman.

Anton, what can you tell us about what's happening in Bethlehem right now?

ANTON SALMAN, ANTONIUS SOCIETY: Without no reason, without no excuse, the Israelis bombed the south door of the Church of the Nativity. They bombed the door and they destroyed part of the building.

COSTELLO: Do you see any Israelis coming into the church?

SALMAN: Until the moment, no, but we are afraid that they are planning for a big operation, a big disaster that may be -- may be inside the Church of the Nativity.

COSTELLO: Are the people inside the church armed?

SALMAN: Look this...

COSTELLO: Anton, are you still there?

Anton, can you hear us?

We have lost our connection with Anton, but he says he did see the south door being blown off, does not see any Israelis coming into the church, but he predicts a big disaster.
