KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Another story we have been following, this one out of Los Angeles, kind of bizarre pictures, I guess you could say, you don't really expect a runaway on a runway do you? But this empty American Airlines Boeing 767 rolled into a fence on the west side of the L.A. International Airport this morning, and we are told that there is an investigation now to see if the parking brake was properly set.

The plane had been parked there overnight for maintenance, and you can see what happened now. It rolled right through the fence. The jet was near the hangar area, and just about 20 feet of the nose smashed through fence. As you can see, it is now blocking eastbound lanes of the World Way West, which is the road that takes you along airport there.

Once again, the spokesperson for the airport says the accident has had no impact on passengers or flight operations. That is good news. No injuries reported, but we will continue to investigate how this happened as we look at live pictures compliments of KABC in Los Angeles.
