DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: They are out of this world, toys for "Star Wars" "Episode II: Attack of the Clones" are flying off the shelves. Kids -- and we use that term loosely, since some of them have been shaving since the classic Star Wars movies of the late 70s -- stood in line to get inside toy stores this week. "Star Wars" "Episode II: Attack of the Clones" hits theaters May 16. Hard to believe it is almost here.

From time to time this year, we have been checking in with a couple of hardcore "Star Wars" fans. Jeff Tweiten and John Guth have been in line all year long in Seattle, waiting for "Star Wars" "Episode II" to open, and I think -- guys, we are just about 19 days to go now?

JEFF TWEITEN, "STAR WARS" FAN: Oh, yes.

JOHN GUTH, "STAR WARS" FAN: Oh, yes.

KAGAN: Oh, yes. Good morning to both of you.

TWEITEN: Good morning to you.

GUTH: Good morning.

KAGAN: Now, every time we have checked in with you, you still haven't been really sure if -- if the movie is even going to playing at this theater. Have we at least confirmed that?

GUTH: Yes, we have actually. We confirmed it about a week ago, and it is going to show here at the theater on the 16th, and then a couple weeks later, it will be shown digitally. So, that is kind of exciting.

KAGAN: And as we get any closer, anybody now trying to get in line with you?

TWEITEN: No one has gotten in line yet. We are waiting. The spots open.

KAGAN: But no cuts.

TWEITEN: It sounds like -- no cuts, exactly.

GUTH: I think people are going to wait until tickets go on sale before they really start lining up.

KAGAN: Yes, imagine that. They would actually wait until they could get a ticket to get in line. Have you had a chance to see the trailer?

TWEITEN: Yes.

KAGAN: And your review of the trailer.

GUTH: It was on TV (UNINTELLIGIBLE). It was good. I mean, this last trailer, as admitted by many, is definitely far by the best. It showed a lot more action, a lot more Dark Side. You know, hey, we're really looking forward to a good movie, and I think the trailers are proving that to us.

KAGAN: I bet you have -- I am sure you have seen -- I don't know if you can see this, but the cover of "Time" magazine. Yoda is on the cover this week.

GUTH: Oh, yes.

TWEITEN: Yes.

KAGAN: And there is everything, kind of, you would ever want to know about "Star Wars," about "Star Wars" past and that "Star Wars" that is coming up. Did you read this, and learn anything new that you didn't know?

GUTH: I did read it, and I have to say, I didn't learn anything I didn't know. Some of the pictures were cool to look at, but as far as any new information, it has kind of been out there already, so...

KAGAN: I will tell you one thing I learned in there was that a lot of fans were disappointed with the last "Star Wars."

GUTH: Yes, they were, actually. The whole Jar-Jar Bink saga, you know, a lot of people didn't go for that. It was really geared more towards kids, and a lot of the older fans, such as myself and around that generation were concerned about that.

KAGAN: The old guys.

GUTH: Yes, the old guys, yes, tell me about it.

KAGAN: I was thinking that maybe with all this publicity you guys have been getting, perhaps you would have gotten a call from George Lucas by now saying, Hey guys, don't -- I appreciate your devotion, don't stand in line, come on down to the Bay Area, I'll show the movie to you ahead of time.

TWEITEN: No, it's one of those things. I don't think he would touch us with a ten-foot pole.

KAGAN: We are aware, though, that he is aware of what we are doing. We had, actually, a visit this week from a gentleman from ILM that worked on the film, and basically had nothing but nice things to say about us and what the feelings of the folks at ILM are about what we are doing. They are kind of proud that they are working on a project that fans like us are willing to wait four and a half months outside of a movie theater for.

KAGAN: That is true. Not many people have a job that has people so devoted. My partner Leon Harris here has a question for you.

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Hey, guys. Hey, Jeff, John, I have to ask you guys, because it has just occurred to me as I am sitting here listening to you guys talk to Daryn. Are you going to feel stupid if this movie opens up down there, and there is only ten people that show up in line? You have been waiting all this time to be the first ones, and maybe 30 people show up to buy tickets?

GUTH: You know, that would be awesome because we would have the whole theater to ourselves. We could lounge around. We wouldn't have to worry about competition, people pushing or long popcorn lines, anything like that. So hey, bring it on.

KAGAN: Or don't bring it on, as the case may be.

TWEITEN: No one come down here. No one -- there is no line here. No movie.

GUTH: There is no movie.

KAGAN: Don't come to this theater. Go somewhere else. Jeff and John, good luck with the continued waiting in line. We are going to check in again with you, of course, before the movie opens next month.

GUTH: We appreciate that. Check us out at waitingforstarwars.com if you want to see more pictures.

KAGAN: Yes. Can hardly wait. OK.

HARRIS: And who says people can't finish what they start these days?
