CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: But first, some retirement advice from "Money" magazine.

MARION ASNES, "MONEY" MAGAZINE: Money magazine shows Boulder, Colorado as one of its best places to retire because it is a lovely town, it's got wonderful natural beauty but you also have a large and growing senior community. You have a very active Boulder Senior Center. You have good mass transit, which may not be an issue in early retirement, but in later retirement if people have trouble driving, this is the town where they can really get around.

One of the things that Boulder Senior Center does sponsor is tours to nearby Denver. You can also engage in many outdoor activities, not just mountain climbing, there's biking and hiking and boating and fishing, all the things that the Rocky Mountain is all famous for.

Boulder does have long winters, and the kind of active seniors who like to move to a town like Boulder need to know that there are plenty of outdoor sports for them to engage in in the winter as well as in the summertime.
