DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Two days and counting -- and I know you're counting -- to "The Clones," George Lucas' fifth film in the "Star Wars" series. "Attack of the Clones" will tangle with "Spider- Man," which has spun records at the box office. Total take: over $223 million.

So the question of the day: Can "Spider-Man" defy gravity at the box office, or will "Star Wars" bring the webbed wonder down to earth? This is a big question, right up there with world peace, I know.

Will Harrison is a reviewer at spiderfan.org. He joins us from Seattle. And in San Antonio, Larry Ramirez, founder of "Star Wars" Society of San Antonio -- gentlemen, good morning.

WILL HARRISON, REVIEWER, SPIDERFAN.ORG: Good morning.

LARRY RAMIREZ, FOUNDER, "STAR WARS" SOCIETY OF SAN ANTONIO: Good morning.

KAGAN: Good to have you with us.

All right, Will, we're going to start with you. Just how amazing is "Spider-Man" for you -- the movie?

HARRISON: Oh, it's great. I mean I've been a "Spider-Man" fan for a while, and I've been looking forward to this movie since it took so long to make. And I think -- I just think they nailed it. They got the characters down, they got the plot down. So many elements of the comic into the film, and I think they did a fantastic job.

KAGAN: Larry, have you seen "Spider-Man?"

RAMIREZ: I've seen part of it. I had to rush in and out of the theater for different reasons. But it was pretty good.

KAGAN: Pretty good, but nothing compared to what -- I think you're about to see "Star Wars" today, is that right?

RAMIREZ: I'll be seeing it probably late tonight.

KAGAN: Tonight.

RAMIREZ: But from what I understand, yes, it's well awaited for and it's going to be very, very good. KAGAN: I mean that's huge. How long have you waited for this one?

RAMIREZ: Oh, about 25 years.

KAGAN: Just about 25 years. Now you have to say, in terms of force, "Spider-Man" has been an incredible force. The quickest movie ever to reach $200 million. That is some lofty, lofty heights for "Star Wars" to have to reach. Do you think it has a chance, Larry?

RAMIREZ: It might. I mean a lot of people have been waiting for the "Spider-Man" movie pretty much for -- well, just as long as "Star Wars" fans have been waiting for these prequels. And for the most part, I know that these movies that are coming out right now for "Star Wars," especially "Attack of the Clones," are going to be crowd- pleasers. And I think everybody -- all fans in general will love this movie.

KAGAN: Now some of those fans are girls and women, and we love a love story. And supposedly, in this "Star Wars," they're kind of pumping up the love story angle. But also, you know -- Will, you can jump in on this one -- the love story angle is -- how would you say the chemistry is between Toby Maguire and Kyrsten Dunst?

HARRISON: Well, Toby Maguire and Kyrsten Dunst have great chemistry. I think it really comes through on screen. I think they were rumored to be going out at one point.

KAGAN: I think they were, but I think that one's over.

HARRISON: Yes. I think it was just a rumor. But I think it just goes to show how those two really, really, really matched well. And just like Peter and MJ in the comics.

KAGAN: And what about "Star Wars"? Don't you think there's great potential there? I mean Natalie Portman, she's one of the prettiest girls in the movies right now.

RAMIREZ: Actually, last night I was watching an interview on "Access Hollywood," where they talked to both Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman...

KAGAN: Yes?

RAMIREZ: ... and they said that they both had a lot of chemistry together and it helped out on screen and off.

KAGAN: And so you think it's going to sizzle?

RAMIREZ: Well, they pretty much have to hang out with each other for the next movie as well, so I think it's going to pretty much stay there. And they're going to mesh a little bit more, and it's going to be a lot better as it (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

KAGAN: All right. Well good luck. And you get to go see the movie tonight, Larry. That's an exciting time. RAMIREZ: Oh yes.

KAGAN: Is it true -- they told me in my ear you came here with a Yoda, your own personal Yoda?

RAMIREZ: Got a Yoda right here sitting next to me.

HARRISON: Good man -- good man.

KAGAN: Have Yoda, will travel. Those are the kind of people we like to talk to here on CNN. Well Larry Ramirez, enjoy "Star Wars," as good as it will be. And Will Harrison -- how many times are you going to see "Spider-Man," Will?

HARRISON: Up to two right now. I'll probably get at least a couple more times.

KAGAN: All right. Well you enjoy, and thanks for having some fun with us today.

HARRISON: Thank you.

KAGAN: And you guys have a good time at the movies.

RAMIREZ: All right. Thanks for having us on.

HARRISON: Thank you.
