BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: In Birmingham, Alabama, a verdict has been reached in the bombing trial of Bobby Frank Cherry. This is a 71-year-old man, the last of four suspects in the case that goes back to 1963. A church bombing back in 1963 took the lives of four young African-American women.

And Bobby Frank Cherry, a few years ago, said he was incompetent to stand trial. A psychology evaluation proved otherwise and the case did continue. Now we know there is a verdict. What that verdict is, we do not know.

But at 71 years of age, Bobby Frank Cherry will find out his fate sometime very soon inside that courtroom in Birmingham.
