KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Throughout the day, we have been watching the comings and goings of the supposedly secret wedding of Paul McCartney. It's time to check in again.

CNN's Richard Quest is far from a secret. He is standing by in Glaslough, Ireland, with more alleged scoop -- hi, Richard.

RICHARD QUEST, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Kyra, there's one constant in all of this. And that's the rain, with just about three minutes ago decided, the heavens, to open up.

But what I can tell you is that the ceremony ended about 25, 30 minutes ago, quarter past 5:00, our time. It's now 20 to 6:00. So, the wedding has taken place. And we have heard the sounds of church bells coming from within Castle Leslie. The actual church itself, the St. Salvator's Church over there, is way over there in the middle of the castle estate.

So, Sir Paul is now married to Heather Mills, who now becomes Lady Heather McCartney -- Sir Paul and Lady Heather McCartney. We don't know, of course, whether she has decided to take the title. There are people who are saying she is not going to use the title. Linda McCartney never really liked using the title either.

Now, the other thing we understand is that there may be a bit of an argy-bargy, a bit of an argument, going on because of a helicopter that was flying overhead taking press pictures of what was happening. And we understand that the McCartneys are furious about that. And they may not, may not -- it's only a may, a big may -- and there's lots of mays in this story at the moment -- there may not actually release the picture that they had promised to everybody, because they are so angry that this helicopter buzzing overhead perhaps destroyed the solemnity of the atmosphere in the Salvator's Church.

But that's what is happening at the moment. If things are going according to plan, Kyra, they have moved from the church down to the marquees. The feast and festival will be begin.

PHILLIPS: All right, Richard, I have to ask this question. I must admit, we have all been wanting to know. Did they sign a prenup?

QUEST: That's the big question, because Sir Paul is worth well over $1 billion. We asked his spokesmen about that. They said, "No comment." Well, no, actually, they said they didn't know. There were reports in this morning's Irish newspapers that the agreement between the two is that, if the marriage was to founder, then she would get a house and 200,000 pounds, around $300,000. But it sounds -- it sounds very cynical and perhaps a little off of the -- while the wedding bells are going on over there, I'm talking about what happens if it all comes down around their ears.

(LAUGHTER)

PHILLIPS: That's all right. We want to believe in true love, right, Richard?

QUEST: Well, no, I'll settle -- today and after three days of this, I will settle for five hours without rain.

Look at this. Hang on. Just bear with me. Right over where the church is at the moment: a rainbow. You are talking about true love. It is a double rainbow, I'm told by one of my colleagues. Yes, there's one up. And there's one a bit higher. And there's one a bit further down. So, you talk to me, Kyra, there about true love and I will show you a rainbow. I believe the pot of gold is at the end of it. And I believe that's called Paul McCartney.

PHILLIPS: Aww, he got a pot of gold, didn't he, with that beautiful wife.?

Hey, did Ringo Starr show up?

QUEST: Oh, yes, yes, Ringo Starr. We saw him arrive at Belfast Airport earlier today. He flew over from England. And then he was -- even in a wedding of family and friends, there are certain status levels. So, the family from Liverpool, they all got shunted here on a bus. Ringo Starr came in his own limo, one of Paul McCartney's private limos.

So, he arrived here. We don't know, during the service, whether he did read a new arrangement of "All You Need is Love." That, of course, will leak out in the hours ahead. But we can say Ringo Starr was here. And Aidan Quinn, we believe, was here. We haven't heard about whether Elton John was here. Eric Clapton, who we have been talking about for hours, no one seems to know whether he actually -- no one seems to know whether he actually turned up. The model Twiggy was there.

So, maybe it was more family and friends and fewer celebrities. We will find out in the hours ahead, Kyra.

PHILLIPS: All right, our Richard Quest at the end of the rainbow. Thanks, Richard.
