KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: The so-called 20th hijacker from the September 11 attacks is back in federal court this hour.

Zacarias Moussaoui is being arraigned on new charges that do not include accusations that he inquired about crop dusting planes.

Moussaoui is representing himself, and yesterday a judge rejected his request to have a Muslim attorney advise him during that hearing.

Well, across the nation FBI agents are opening library records to find out what some people are reading. The searches are legal under the Patriot Act signed by President Bush last year.

That same law makes it a crime for librarians to talk about any of those searches, but joining us now, Judith Krug. She's the director of the American Library Associations Office of Intellectual Freedom.
