Philadelphia Police Arrest Pratt Kidnappers

Police have taken two men into custody in connection with the kidnapping of Erica Pratt. James Burns, Edward Johnson taken to a Philly hospital for treatment of cuts and bruises. Police say they believe the men are responsible for kidnapping Erica on Monday.
She escaped Tuesday night by chewing through the duct tape around her hands and feet.
A family spokesman says Erica's escape was a boost to the entire neighborhood.

MANNWELL GLENN, FAMILY SPOKESMAN: This is a very happy time right now. This little girl saved herself. We had neighborhoods after neighborhood, we had police, we had community activists, we had friends of the family looking for this little girl and this little heroine saved herself, did things that many adults probably couldn't have done.

HEMMER: And police say the kidnappers may have been working under the assumption that Erica's family had recently inherited a large sum of money.
