KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: For the latest on that missing girl story that we have been telling you about -- Daryn was telling you about in the last 20 minutes or so. Authorities are still searching for the 6-year-old girl in Missouri. This is a picture of her. This is Cassandra K.C. Williamson.

We are told that they started searching for his afternoon. It appears she just left her family's home in the morning, and hasn't been able to be found yet. She was last seen inside her home about 7:00 a.m., actually, by her parents, and was reported missing about a half an hour later. This is according to the police department there in St. Louis. She was wearing a white nightgown, according to police.

Now, there has been no firm evidence that she has been abducted. We want to make that clear at this point. Right now, she is just missing. They have ruled out everything else, but still, no firm evidence that she has been abducted.

A neighborhood canvass is going on right now. They are going through all of the homes. There has been some suspicion that one of the local homeless-type individuals in the area, who stays in a different home, might be involved. He, too, has not been found.

We are told that authorities are using helicopters and bloodhounds at this point to search the area around this little girl's suburban home in St. Louis, Missouri. It's less than a third of a mile from a river also.

Now, a description of little K.C. She is 4 feet tall, 48 pounds, she has long, blond hair.

The homeless man being sought is also identified as Jimmy Johnson, 5 foot 10 inches, thin, with straggly, red hair and a goatee.

Once again, the search on both, for little K.C. Williamson, and also a possible individual that may be related to this, an unidentified -- or rather, a homeless man identified as Jimmy Johnson.

We will continue to follow this story and bring you more as it develops.
