DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage and his new bride Lisa Marie Presley are presumably at some romantic honeymoon hideaway today. The couple married in a supersecret ceremony in Hawaii last weekend. They've been dating a year. The wedding comes just days before the 25th anniversary of her famous father's death. The groom is an admitted Elvis fanatic. Cage has played Elvis look-a-likes in two of his movies.
The entertainment magazine show "Extra" has a hot property. They have exclusive pictures of the nuptials. Dayna Devon is an anchor and correspondent for "Extra," joining us from Los Angeles this morning.

Dayna, good morning.

DAYNA DEVON, "EXTRA": Good morning, Daryn.

KAGAN: Good for you guys, getting this little exclusive here with these photos. Let's get right to it and take a look.

DEVON: Absolutely.

KAGAN: Do you have them?

DEVON: OK.

KAGAN: Tell us about it.

DEVON: We believe that she was wearing -- well, we see it here. She was wearing a cream-colored gown. It's very traditional. It's floor length with kind of full skirt, strapless and a gold trim. He was wearing a tuxedo. The guest at the wedding, Will Priscilla (ph), her mother, Lisa Marie's two children from a previous marriage, Nicolas Cage's son from a previous marriage, and Lisa Marie's maternal grandparents.

KAGAN: And we know that they got married in Hawaii.

DEVON: Right, they got married in Hawaii, at a hotel resort, and that's actually how the word leaked out a little bit. Some of the hotel employees actually spoke out after the wedding and let everybody know that they had indeed been there. And the interesting thing about Hawaii as a choice for the wedding is Elvis loved Hawaii, and actually shot several movies there. And Nicolas Cage, like you mentioned before, such a big fan of Elvis, and an Elvis fanatic. It was quite a choice for a wedding.

KAGAN: It did kind of strike me as, though, Dayna. I mean, let's kind of dish here for a second. I mean, it striked me as odd that they picked this big hotel resort. Not everyone can afford a wedding like this, but for big stars and very rich people like these two people it almost seems pedestrian to get married there like that.

DEVON: You know, I think it's the trend now, Daryn. Actually is for celebrities that want to have a private ceremony. The smaller the ceremony, the less caterers and florists involved, the easier it is to keep that ceremony private and small, and not have the paparazzi ruin your special day, so I think that's the trend.

KAGAN: And they did catch us all by surprise. I mean, I think it came as a surprise to us when we found out about it, and you guys are lucky that you have the one picture, but still, it's just one picture from kind of far away. So they did get their private wedding.

DEVON: They absolutely did. And you know, we're seeing a lot of celebrities actually being able to fool the paparazzi, which I think is very important, like we just saw Julia Roberts and Danny Moder fly all of their guests to a barbecue in New Mexico and they all thought they were just going there for a barbecue, and then they actually surprised their guests with the nuptials. So it's very common now to see these surprise weddings.

KAGAN: So we presume they're on their honeymoon now. Any tips about where they might be?

DEVON: Actually they are not on their honeymoon.

KAGAN: They're not.

DEVON: The consummate workers that they are. No, Nicolas Cage was back at work Monday on his film "Matchstick Man." It's a Ridley Scott Film, and Lisa Marie's expected in Memphis this week to mark the 25th anniversary of her father's death. So they're actually back at work, and they're publicist say no plans so far for honeymoon. So we'll see.

KAGAN: You'll have to keep your spies out and about, so when that honeymoon happens, that you guys can get those exclusive pictures as well.

DEVON: Absolutely.

KAGAN: So even these big stars have lives they need to get back to. Somehow that's kind of comforting I guess.

DEVON: It is. It is.

KAGAN: You'll be showing the picture on "Extra" today?

DEVON: We will be showing the pictures today. We showed them yesterday, and we will have some more details for you tonight.

KAGAN: We look forward to that. Dayna Devon, from "Extra," thanks for stopping by.
