ANDERSON COOPER, CNN ANCHOR: Elvis and his daughter are in this morning's "Hollywood Buzz," and our friend Tracy St. George of Atlanta's Q-100 radio is here with that and more news from the entertainment world.
Hey, how's it going?
TRACY ST. GEORGE, Q-100 ATLANTA: Yes. Very good, thanks.
COOPER: So they got married last weekend.
ST. GEORGE: They did, in Hawaii.
COOPER: It's kind of creepy, if you ask me.
ST. GEORGE: Oh, I don't think so. Why do you think it's creepy?
COOPER: Well I think it's creepy, No. 1, because why get married on like the week of the anniversary that your dad died?
ST. GEORGE: That's -- yes, that part is creepy.
COOPER: I think (ph) -- it just seems like a publicity thing.
ST. GEORGE: Yes, that could be true. But they're so cute and they've been dating for a long time, and then broke up and now they're back together, obviously they're married in Hawaii. So they probably did the aloha blue Hawaii stuff like that.
COOPER: And now the other thing I find kind of creepy about it is that Nicolas Cage is like a big Elvis obsessed fan.
ST. GEORGE: Yes, and he dressed up like Elvis in that movie.
COOPER: Right. It's a little,...
ST. GEORGE: So it is kind of creepy.
COOPER: ... I don't know, if you ask me.
ST. GEORGE: But I think they look so cute together.
COOPER: Well cuter than she and Michael Jackson, but I mean, you know.
ST. GEORGE: Yes, that's just creepy. I would have a problem marrying anybody that would have anything to do with Michael Jackson...
COOPER: Well.
ST. GEORGE: ... or anybody in that family.
But talking about Elvis, did you know he's been named the top earning dead celebrity of the last year?
COOPER: I did not know that.
ST. GEORGE: Yes, $37 million...
COOPER: Really?
ST. GEORGE: ... from June to June.
COOPER: Well he's got this the company that I guess Lisa Marie is involved with.
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: I mean they have a pretty tight control over the marketing...
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: ... of the Elvis image. And I guess they're the ones sort of running this whole Elvis week thing out of Memphis.
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: Sure?
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: So what else you got?
ST. GEORGE: Well you know that -- what the heck was his wife's name -- Priscilla. She was at the wedding, the two kids were at the wedding, and they had a pre-engagement seance with The King to make sure that Elvis was cool with the wedding.
COOPER: Come on!
ST. GEORGE: No, for real, they did. And The King said...
COOPER: All right, that's the third reason this thing is creepy.
ST. GEORGE: ... it's OK.
COOPER: I had two reasons, you've just given me the third,...
ST. GEORGE: OK.
COOPER: ... a pre-wedding seance.
ST. GEORGE: Well let's move on to Jason Priestley.
COOPER: OK.
ST. GEORGE: You heard about him?
COOPER: Sure.
ST. GEORGE: Doing the Indy car racing thing,...
COOPER: Right.
ST. GEORGE: ... bad crash on Sunday?
COOPER: Right.
ST. GEORGE: Hit a wall 180 miles an hour, broke his back, some other bones in his...
COOPER: He broke his feet, apparently, too.
ST. GEORGE: His feet, yes, his nose, which is so bad for an actor. But apparently everything's going to be OK.
COOPER: Yes?
ST. GEORGE: He's not -- he's going to have to wear a brace for a little while, but his surgeons say he's not going to need any spinal surgery like that so everything should be OK.
COOPER: Now he's also got kind of the Elvis Presley hair thing going on there.
ST. GEORGE: He's had that for way too long.
COOPER: Oh, you think?
ST. GEORGE: And I don't even know how the helmet could have fit on his head -- yes.
COOPER: You think he should change the look?
ST. GEORGE: Yes. And one of the visitors, actually, to the hospital was Luke Perry from "90210."
COOPER: Oh, come on! Get out of here!
ST. GEORGE: Yes, and he had a car crash in a Porsche on "90210" so he really could relate with the car accident that Jason was in. So it's a good thing that he was there.
COOPER: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Luke Perry can relate to what Jason Priestley went through because...
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: ... he had a car crash on "90210?" ST. GEORGE: On the show, yes. So he could feel his pain. He knew what he was going through, yes.
(LAUGHTER)
COOPER: Oh that's just not right. It's just not right.
What else is -- you know the world of celebrities is endlessly fascinating to me...
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: ... in a creepy sort of way.
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: Now I'm also hearing some stuff about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
ST. GEORGE: Yes, which I think now, Anderson, is a sham. OK.
COOPER: You think it's a sham, really?
ST. GEORGE: So, yes, a total sham.
COOPER: A mockery of a sham?
ST. GEORGE: Yes, because J.Lo and Ben are supposed to be so in love, supposedly they're heading to the alter and everything.
COOPER: What, they're already getting married!
ST. GEORGE: Yes.
COOPER: They just met like a week ago.
ST. GEORGE: But now sources are telling me that she and P. Diddy have been dating.
COOPER: Oh please!
ST. GEORGE: So if you ask me, Ben is the beard, Ben is the cover because they've been out on a date, seen a lot on...
COOPER: What sources are telling you this?
ST. GEORGE: "The sources." I can't tell you my sources, Anderson, I'd have to kill you then. But, yes, that's what they're saying. But who knows, we'll just have to wait and see. But I think that J.Lo and P. Diddy are just cute together.
COOPER: Yes?
ST. GEORGE: Sorry, Ben, but, yes, I do.
COOPER: I think -- and -- yes, I don't know. Does she call... ST. GEORGE: And there's always...
COOPER: Does she call him P. Diddy? Have your sources told you that?
ST. GEORGE: No, I don't know if she does or not. I know she calls him Puffy or did at least.
COOPER: Oh yes! Yes.
ST. GEORGE: But she's also in trouble with her new fragrance, Glow,...
COOPER: Right.
ST. GEORGE: ... because apparently there was another fragrance named Glow. So that Glow is suing her -- suing her Glow, which is made by Coty.
COOPER: For trademark infringement?
ST. GEORGE: Exactly. So who knows? But it does smell nice. I smelled it last week, and it's going to be out in September.
COOPER: Well you're smelling very nice this morning, I must say. It's a nice aroma.
ST. GEORGE: That'd be Donna Karin. Thank you.
COOPER: Oh is it? All right.
ST. GEORGE: Yes, love my cashmere men.
(LAUGHTER)
COOPER: All right.
ST. GEORGE: Thanks.
