CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: CNN's Larry King is big, very, very big in Madison, Maine. Just how big, you ask?
Lisa Gardner of CNN affiliate WMTW shows us.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

LISA GARDNER, WMTW CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It's impossible to tell what Bushkov was going for until you get the right perspective.

DANIEL BUSHKOV, ARTIST: They're circling above. Definitely. He made several circles now.

GARDNER: It's a 250' x 300' impression of CNN talk show host Larry King.

BUSHKOV: You travel around the world and he's in everybody's living room.

LARRY KING: I guess they finally met your expectations.

BUSHKOV: He's like the ultimate guest in your living room, but also the ultimate host.

This is the eye. This is the left eye, just under the glasses.

GARDNER: Bushkov says he's been thinking about this project for the past year and a half, but didn't know what form it would take. He decided to stomp King's face into the ground after hearing about the movie "Signs," where Mel Gibson is a farmer who discovers mysterious crop circles in his corn field.

BUSHKOV: And I thought maybe I can do this drawing to coincide with the release of the film, where everybody's kind of prepared to think along these lines in a way.

GARDNER: Bushkov and a partner spent three long weeks measuring and mapping out the face and then fine tuning every feature. And now that his work is done, Bushkov seems almost as excited to watch it go away.

BUSHKOV: The milk wheat is already coming up. So slowly, within the next two or three weeks or month, it will just kind of disappear. Nature will just kind of claim it back.

GARDNER: In Madison, Lisa Gardner, News 8, WMTW. (END VIDEOTAPE)
