CATHERINE CALLAWAY, CNN ANCHOR: There are husbands, wives, significant others and now significant puppies.
Lisa Hayward from WPBF, that's our West Palm Beach, Florida affiliate -- of course it's West Palm Beach -- has more on a resort for dogs who happen to be traveling with their humans.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

BRENDA DOZACK: Our new (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

DAN DOZACK, PET OWNER: Give your daddy kisses? Oh.

LISA HAYWARD, WPBF CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Dan Dozack says he can't go anywhere without his two dogs, Gretchen and Heidi.

DAN DOZACK: As a matter of fact, my wife went on her vacation, my wife went on a three week vacation to California without me because I had to stay home and watch the pets, watch the dogs. I didn't want to go. I didn't want to leave them.

HAYWARD: So when Dan and his wife learned the upscale Jupiter Beach Resort now accepts pets, they had to check it out.

BRENDA DOZACK: Our girls are the best thing in our lives and we want to give them the best. And this is a great place.

HAYWARD: Pooches are pampered with ceramic bowls filled with treats. Only bottled water will do, along with Milk Bones and the ultimate in canine cuisine. A room service menu includes not only premium dog food, but also grilled chicken and filet of beef.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We had so much fun with it, I think it's kind of developed from there. I mean when you're sitting there having a meeting developing your puppy cuisine menu and the chef is looking at you, you can't help but get just a little hysterical.

HAYWARD: Staffers will even walk or baby-sit your dog. And if you want to spend the day sightseeing, the resort has made arrangements with a doggie day care center down the road.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And it appears that our four-legged friends are enjoying it immensely.

HAYWARD: And so are their owners.

DAN DOZACK: We're coming back in two weeks. (END VIDEOTAPE)

CALLAWAY: That's Lisa Hayward of our West Palm Beach affiliate WPBF. She's reporting from Jupiter Beach, Florida.
