German Police Arrest Two in Terror Plot

KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: This just in to CNN. Reports are telling us now that German police have arrested two people in a planned attack on the United States. We are told that German police have arrested two people, including a woman who holds joint American and German citizenship on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack on the United States Army headquarters in Europe, where the American works in a civilian capacity, we are told.
A 25-year-old German man of Turkish origin and the woman, who is also of Turkish origin were arrested in the southern German city of Heidelberg, where police found a quality of explosives in their position -- or possession, rather. We're continuing to work this story. Once again, German police arrest two people in a planned attack on a U.S. base. We'll get as much information as possible, and we'll bring it to you when we have it.
