KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Portions of a major Florida highway continue to be shut down after a story breaking this morning that we've been covering, terror plot fears, three men still detained. Our Mark Potter is on the scene with another development from this story -- Mark.
MARK POTTER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, as the second search appears to be winding down now, we have gotten some word from South Miami, Florida from a hospital there, Larkin (ph) Hospital, confirming that the three detainees who are still not identified publicly, were heading for their hospital to begin a course, a medical course on Monday.

The detainees were only described as medical students. The hospital would not confirm the course that they were taking, would not say anything that would identify the three, but they told one of our producers that the three people that everybody is dealing with, everyone is concerned about, that the police have detained were indeed heading to their hospital to begin a course on Monday.

And this is a private hospital, a surgical hospital in the South Miami area, so that does add a little bit of information to this story here. And it takes it away from being perhaps a terrorist event, although we are waiting for the developments here on the scene and elsewhere from the investigators. But it is the latest developments that they appear, it has been confirmed by a hospital, they were medical students en route to South Miami to begin a legitimate medical course at a certified hospital. Back to you.

PHILLIPS: Mark Potter, thanks so much.
