(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

DAWN KENDRICK, WOIO REPORTER: Two-year-old Lynsey has a lot of giggles to go around. But it hasn't always been that way for her four older sisters, who were separated for years in foster care.

ANN ROBERTS, LOTTO WINNER: The girls have been moved around a lot.

KENDRICK: That's why two years ago, Ann and Tom Roberts took in all five of the girls as foster parents.

ROBERTS: They needed to be together. They needed to see Lynsey grow up. And that's helping the older ones, I think, heal.

KENDRICK: With the Roberts three other children, finances were stretched. Then in April, a big break. Tom and coworkers won the Super lotto and split $75 million. Nine days later, the Roberts really hit the jackpot when they made it official and adopted Lynsey and her four sisters.

ROBERTS: They would be able to go to basketball camp, horse camp, the ballet classes and things like that that they wanted to do.

KENDRICK: One of the first things The Roberts did was pay off the big red van. The girls call it Clifford. It's essential, you can imagine, when you have five kids, oh, especially with little Lynsey. The Roberts told us, they were going to find a way, even before they won the lottery, they would find a way it make sure they provided for these girls everything that they had lost.

ROBERTS: They have lost their families, their natural families, their aunts and uncles, they've lost the houses, the neighborhoods, the schools. Every place they lived before, they have lost that.

But these girls have found something no amount of money can buy.

In Carroll County, I'm Dawn Kendrick, Action News.
