KELLY CLARKSON, "AMERICAN IDOL" WINNER: And now a moment like this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Kelly Clarkson, she's still on cloud nine after winning the "American Idol" competition this summer. The 20-year-old's release of "A Moment Like This" has hit No. 1. Oh what a surprise. Yes, it's hit No. 1 on the latest Hot 100 singles chart. You remember, that's the song she sang on the final episode of the show. "A Moment Like This" paired with the song "Before Your Love" rose from the No. 55 spot after going on sale in stores last week. That is the biggest leap to No. 1 in the history of the Hot 100.

We're not surprised are we,...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I know.

COSTELLO: ... Tracy St. George?

TRACY ST. GEORGE, Q100 ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Not at all. Not at all. She actually called into "The Bert Show" yesterday on Q100, and I was like ahh (ph). I still love Kelly. I love her hair. I love her whole being. Love the song.

COSTELLO: So what did she say, is she happy, is she...

ST. GEORGE: Yes, she loves it. She was just doing a little bit of gossip about the other finalists and stuff so it was fun.

COSTELLO: Oh, and what was that?

ST. GEORGE: Yes. Well some of them eat sloppy, some of them swear a lot.

COSTELLO: Who eats sloppy? We've got to get this out to the public.

ST. GEORGE: I think it was Nikki. I think it was Nikki that ate a little messy.

COSTELLO: Poor Nikki.

(LAUGHTER)

COSTELLO: That's terrible.

A lot of interesting movies are coming out.

ST. GEORGE: Great (ph) movies.

COSTELLO: Remakes of TV shows.

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: Why is this keep happening?

ST. GEORGE: I think -- I think our generation loves to go back. I'm hoping for a "Facts of Life" one, but we have "Starsky and Hutch" coming soon.

COSTELLO: Oh, I think we have the theme song. We must play a little bit of it just so that we can reminisce together.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

COSTELLO: There it is. Oh, remember that car. Anyway,...

ST. GEORGE: The Ford Grand Torino, right...

COSTELLO: Exactly. Who's going to star in this moving?

ST. GEORGE: What we're hearing is Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, who I love. But originally I guess they were talking to George Clooney and Vince Vaughn, who I would not have minded seeing, but...

COSTELLO: Oh yes.

ST. GEORGE: ... Ben Stiller's going to be awesome in that.

COSTELLO: Oh yes, we love...

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: ... Ben Stiller.

ST. GEORGE: And somebody very surprising going to be Huggy Bear, Snoop Dogg is going to be in the movie.

COSTELLO: Snoop Dogg is going to be Huggy Bear.

ST. GEORGE: Snoop Dogg -- yes. And Snoop Dogg is also going to be in, believe it or not, "A Very Muppet Christmas."

COSTELLO: Get out!

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: And he's going to be playing himself or a muppet?

ST. GEORGE: I don't know. Snoop Dogg, with a name like that he could play a muppet. COSTELLO: Yes, he could play a muppet.

They're also going to make a movie of "Bewitched."

ST. GEORGE: Yes, that's going to be great. Mike Myers, who's one of my favorites, he's going to play Darrin and Nicole Kidman will be Samantha.

COSTELLO: Nicole Kidman?

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: That's interesting.

ST. GEORGE: That is. So I don't know if they're going to bring in Tabitha and Adam, you know...

COSTELLO: Oh yes.

ST. GEORGE: ... who the little kids would be; but who cares, I want to see Mike Myers and Nicole Kidman.

COSTELLO: Oh yes that'd be awesome.

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: So are both of these movies -- well of course "Bewitched" would be a comedy, but what about "Starsky and Hutch," because they could make that into a drama?

ST. GEORGE: They could, but I don't think that Ben Stiller could do a drama. I want to see Ben doing comedy. I'm sure he can do drama, but I want to see funny Ben.

COSTELLO: He can, he's been in great dramatic movies.

ST. GEORGE: Yes, like "Zoolander."

COSTELLO: Like "The Royal Tenenbaums," wasn't he in that?

ST. GEORGE: I never saw that one. I so wanted to see that and I never saw it.

COSTELLO: He was awesome. He was awesome.

ST. GEORGE: Was he great?

COSTELLO: Oh yes.

Hey, let's...

ST. GEORGE: But you heard about "Snow White" though, right?

COSTELLO: Oh no.

ST. GEORGE: They're going to be doing a "Matrix"-style "Snow White" and...

COSTELLO: Oh get (ph)...

ST. GEORGE: Yes, and instead of the seven dwarfs, she's going to be protected by seven monks. So who knows, she might be like going huh-yah (ph).

COSTELLO: Seven monks?

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: Monks?

ST. GEORGE: Monks.

COSTELLO: So they're going to be fighting monk...

ST. GEORGE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) people. I guess, I don't know, but that's going to be great. I think that'll be a good one.

COSTELLO: Well what's Snow White going to do, is she going to be a super action hero too?

ST. GEORGE: I think so. I think Reese Witherspoon would be awesome as Snow White, but we -- they haven't announced anybody who's going to be in that one yet.

COSTELLO: Oh yes (ph).

Before you go, we have to talk about J.Lo, because we do every week in this segment.

ST. GEORGE: Every week there's always something. And rumor is she might be getting married as soon as December.

COSTELLO: Oh come on!

ST. GEORGE: Yes, to Ben Affleck, if you were wondering, because you know how she jumps.

COSTELLO: Come on!

ST. GEORGE: Yes. Rumors are saying that she's pregnant. She's saying she's not, but she is admitting that they have been talking marriage and she might be heading down the aisle for the third time in December.

COSTELLO: But she just...

ST. GEORGE: Is it the third (ph)...

COSTELLO: She just got divorced.

ST. GEORGE: I know, and this is like the third time in what, a year, so...

COSTELLO: Poor Chris Judd.

ST. GEORGE: I know.

COSTELLO: Imagine his mental state.

ST. GEORGE: Exactly.

COSTELLO: I mean seriously, that's just awful.

ST. GEORGE: You know he was working at his mom's egg roll restaurant.

COSTELLO: Oh!

ST. GEORGE: Oh yes.

COSTELLO: Oh, that's bad. From choreographer of like...

ST. GEORGE: Yes.

COSTELLO: ... great videos to...

ST. GEORGE: Yes. Yes -- egg rolls.

COSTELLO: Oh that makes me sad.

ST. GEORGE: I'm here for you.

COSTELLO: Chris.

Thank you, Tracy. Tracy St. George, thank you.

ST. GEORGE: Thank you.

COSTELLO: We'll see you again next Thursday.
