LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: If you were with us earlier, you were here when our Kelli Arena broke some news for us about more terror arrests being made on the West Coast. She's got more news on this developing story. So let's check in with her. She's standing by, once again, at her post in our Washington bureau -- Kelli.
KELLI ARENA, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Leon, five of the six individuals that the FBI is looking for, we are told, are in custody. One remains loose in -- somewhere overseas. I have not been able to pin down exactly what country. Also, according to sources, these individuals allegedly tried to enter Afghanistan after September 11th to work with the Al Qaeda terrorist network. All of these individuals, we're told, will be charged in connection with aiding and supporting the Al Qaeda terrorist network. We will be hearing more from the attorney general at 1:00 this afternoon.

We will also be hearing from FBI agents out in Portland, Oregon. That's where four of the individuals were taken into custody. One was taken into custody in Detroit.

Again, one more remains that is not in custody yet. We'll find out hopefully within minutes what's the deal with that -- Leon.

HARRIS: Very interesting, very interesting, Kelli Arena. We'll check back with you later.
