MILES O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: Also, some breaking news for you coming out of Moscow. There's a report that armed men have entered a Moscow theater and have taken the entire audience hostage. For more on this story, we turn it now to Ryan Chilcote, our producer and correspondent in our Moscow bureau.
Ryan, what do we know?

RYAN CHILCOTE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, Miles O'Brien, things are a little bit chaotic right now. I'm actually racing to the scene. The story is being reported by the Russian wire service Interfax. They're saying it's either a large audience in Moscow has been captured by a group of armed men who apparently after storming into this theater hall, opened fire into the air and are not letting people out.

Now, subsequent reports from Interfax are saying that the Russian Federal Security Service, the successor of the Russian KGB, if you will, is confirming that this event has taken place and is already sending its alpha group, that's a very elite group of Russian troops, to the scene.

Back to you, Miles.

O'BRIEN: All right. What theater is it, Ryan? Is it something we would all know, as Westerners, the Bulshoy (ph), or anything like that?

CHILCOTE: It is not hte Bulshoy (ph). It's a theater where a very large musical that's being staged here in Moscow has been under way. I believe the name of that musical -- this only happened three minutes ago, so you'll have to forgive me if I commit some errors. It's called North Oust (ph), and that's where this is apparently taking place. But is not the Bulshoy (ph) Theater, and it is not anywhere near the Kremlin, if you will.

O'BRIEN: OK, Ryan Chilcote, we'll let you get to the scene of that, and please report back as soon as you get there. Just to recap, armed men entered a Moscow theater, the one that Ryan is rushing to get to, took the entire audience hostage. We have reports of some shots being fired. We're obviously tracking that story for you. We'll bring you details as we get them.
