WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: We're getting some breaking news out of our affiliate in Atlanta, WAGA, reporting now that authorities have made what's called a ballistics match between the sniper shooting suspects here in the greater Washington area and a shooting that occurred in Georgia.
We do not vet yet have precise details when that shooting did, in fact, occur, but we have now heard of several of these kinds of allegations, not only here in the greater Washington area, but in Alabama, in Louisiana, in Washington state.

Now, for the first time, we're hearing of what's being called a ballistics match of a shooting that occurred in Georgia.

We're going to follow this story and update you on it as soon as we get some more information.

We're also following some other developments in connection with the sniper story as well. We're expecting to hear from the attorney general of the United States later today on an indictment of these two sniper suspects. Also presumably today, maybe tomorrow, word on which jurisdiction may get the first opportunity to prosecute these two suspects, John Muhammad and John Malvo.
