HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: The London tabloid headlines are trumpeting new stories of scandal surrounding the monarchy.
CNN's Nic Robertson joins us now with the latest from London.

Good morning -- Nic. Is this just a good, old-fashioned tabloid war, or do you think there might actually be some repercussions for the royal family?

NIC ROBERTSON, SENIOR INTERNATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: It is a good, old tabloid war, each trying to outbid the other to get the main story. The story over the weekend, of course, the royal valet alleging that he was attacked homosexually, attacked by one of Prince Charles' own employees, who remain unnamed at this time. That employee has, of course, denied it. There has been a palace investigation. The police have investigated it, and it's not gone any further at this time.

But the implications are perhaps at this stage that the wider view will be that Prince Charles perhaps hasn't managed the staff and his employees very well, and perhaps that could have implications for who should be advising his son, Prince William. Of course, Prince Charles' staff at the moment are advising Prince William -- Heidi.

COLLINS: All right, thank you very much, Nic Robertson, from London this morning.
