HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: Time now to talk sports. When was the last time you remember a football game ending in a tie?
Chris Cotter of 790 The Zone is here now with more on that.

What a wild weekend of football, huh?

CHRIS COTTER, 790 THE ZONE: Unbelievable weekend, both in College and Pro.

COLLINS: Yes.

COTTER: And yesterday, you mentioned the tie, 34-34. The Falcons and the Steelers had this one going. And this one, I mean not only did it end in a tie but it was third highest total yards gained, in other words, combined for both teams, in the history of the league. Over 1,000 yards for both of these teams,...

COLLINS: Man!

COTTER: ... up and down the field. The Falcons were down early. They came back to tie it, and that's why a lot of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the players afterwards were saying boy this really felt like a loss because they really had the Falcons on the ropes and Mike Vick was able to bring them back and get the tie.

And look at this, the Hail Mary, the last play of the game, caught but at the one yard line with no time left so it ends in a tie. A classic tie though.

COLLINS: So sad. All right, we want to keep moving. Patriots, Bears, Patriots come back from behind.

COTTER: They keep finding a way to get it done. Tom Brady is amazing. They were all but finished in this game, and here you have it in the final seconds, great catch -- great pass and catch for a touchdown by New England. And they get the job done and they beat the Bears in Chicago.

COLLINS: The Bears, you've got to say it every time.

COTTER: The Bears.

COLLINS: OK, and the Rams beating the Chargers, right?

COTTER: In -- you know what about Kurt Warner the former MVP who's been hurt, well Marc Bulger comes in. Who is this guy? Well he passes for 450 yards...

COLLINS: Oh my God!

COTTER: ... yesterday for the Rams. I mean when -- there's Kurt Warner right there. When he's 100 percent, they say he's going to play; and of course he will, he's a former MVP. But Marc Bulger, anybody who comes in the NFL passes for over 400 yards, you got to take a bow to (ph).

COLLINS: Yes, we know who he is now, huh?

COTTER: Yes, definitely.

COLLINS: OK, and Indy surprises Philadelphia, especially because they've been playing so well.

COTTER: Philadelphia has these hiccups every now and then. They had one yesterday. Indianapolis goes into Philadelphia and runs all over them. I mean their defense had been dominant coming into this game. So Philadelphia gets the loss. And Indianapolis, maybe this gets them back on track because they had been a little disappointing over the last couple of weeks as well.

COLLINS: And we've got to get to the college game. LSU- Kentucky, clearly the play of the year, don't you think?

COTTER: Well here -- look at -- look at -- the Coach Morris for Kentucky getting...

COLLINS: Already celebrating.

COTTER: ... the Gatorade shower before the game is even over. Here's the final play of the game. It's a 75-yard bomb, this is in Commonwealth Stadium at the University of Kentucky, caught by LSU and the touchdown. Guy Morris says what, what's going on? And the fans running onto the field. The Kentucky student body, you know, obviously had their fair share of sour mash throughout the day, and...

COLLINS: Right.

COTTER: ... storming the field, not even realizing what was going on. They actually started tearing down one of the goalposts in the far end zone there at Commonwealth Stadium before the students actually realized that you don't tear down the goalpost when you lose.

COLLINS: Yes, whoops. You just never know. You've got to hang on until the end.

COTTER: Yes, the very bitter end.

COLLINS: Yes, that was awesome. Very good.

Christ Cotter, we appreciate it.

COTTER: Thanks, Heidi, it's one voice (ph).

COLLINS: Good job.
