LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: And as you see now, the president is now walking away. The wreath has just now been laid there at the tomb of the unknowns and President Bush goes on wrapping up this commemoration of Veterans Day there at Arlington National Cemetery. Let's go down to our Frank Buckley who is standing by at the Pentagon. Actually he's at the White House this morning. Frank.
FRANK BUCKLEY, NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Good morning Leon. Sacred laying of the wreath there at Arlington National Cemetery. Veterans from all of America's conflicts dating back to the American revolution buried there, more than 260,000 people buried at Arlington National Cemetery. The president after this sacred ceremony will be making remarks, as well.

Earlier, as you know, in the east room here at the White House, he invoked Iraq during his comments to veterans and military leaders gathered in the east room. He talked about disarming Saddam Hussein, called it an urgent task. He said that the danger of Iraq is clear and that it's multiplied 1,000 times over by the possibility of nuclear, biological and chemical attack. He restated what has become known as the Bush doctrine, that is preemptively going after threats that may threaten the U.S., saying that the U.S. has to confront it, the danger before it arrives, not the day after. He said -- he talked about the inspectors that will soon be going into Iraq. He said the days of thwarting inspectors in Iraq, he said those games are now over. We're expecting the president to make some remarks at Arlington and he will also talk about Iraq there. Leon.

HARRIS: Of course, we'll be listening in. We'll be taking that speech live as a matter of fact. Thanks, Frank, Frank Buckley at the White House this morning.
