CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: President Bush is heading overseas today to have some important face-time with key U.S. allies in Europe.
Here is CNN's Frank Buckley at the White House to tell us about the president's itinerary.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

FRANK BUCKLEY, CNN CORRESPONDENT (on camera): The president is traveling to Prague today to attend the NATO summit. Iraq expected to be one of the points of discussion among the members. There isn't going to be, we are told, a major address on Iraq, although the U.S. is hoping that they will get a statement of support from the member nations of NATO.

Also to be discussed, the creation of a NATO response force, a small, agile force that will be able to quickly respond to hot spots around the world.

There will be a welcoming of seven new nations into NATO, and at the end of the week, the president will be traveling to St. Petersburg to meet with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

I'm Frank Buckley at the White House -- back to you.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

COSTELLO: Thank you.
