Kidnapping Victim Alice Donovan Still Missing

WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: Right now, let me get some instructions. Oh, we've got -- we want to follow up on that other story we told you about, the arrest of the second suspect who had been on the loose.
Charles Molineaux is standing by. He's got some new information on that.
Go ahead, Charles.
CHARLES MOLINEAUX, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes, Wolf.
We are in actually Brunswick County, North Carolina, where the search continues for Alice Donovan. Now officials from Brunswick County -- North Carolina, as well as Horry County, South Carolina have had ground teams out in this area and helicopters up in the air, trying to figure out where Alice Donovan might have ended up. We just had word within the past few minutes that Chadrick Fulks, one of the fugitives who has been on the loose since November 4th has been apprehend. He was actually apparently picked up in Middleberry, Indiana.
This is the same guy who police said led them in a high-speed chase on Monday night. That was in Marion Ohio, north of Columbus. They went along a stretch of highway 23 about seven, eight miles, at speeds up to 130 miles an hour in what turned out to be a stolen BMW which belonged to the missing woman from South Carolina, Alice Donovan. She disappeared back on November 14th when she stepped out -- when she was in a Kmart -- a Wal-Mart parking lot and she was carjacked, and kidnapped and had not been seen since.
Chadrick Fulks, who is 25 years old, and Brandon Bashon both broke out of a jail in Kentucky back on November 4th, and they have, according to the FBI, been on an interstate crime spree ever since, going into Indiana, and down to South Carolina, and then back up into Kentucky. Kentucky is where Brandon Bashon was arrested on Sunday night. It actually wasn't until Monday they realized they had him. He was captured in Nashville after attempting a carjacking and shooting it out with police. He has been detained ever since. Investigators have been questioning him.
But it is the capture of Chadrick Fulk is that is the dramatic development of today. He was trying to rob a bank in Middleberry, Indiana, and was picked up. Investigators are trying to glean information as to what happened to Alice Donovan. They've been very concerned about her safety, because it has now been six days since she was kidnapped back in South Carolina, and the question has been, what have they done with her?
After a previous carjacking and kidnapping in Kentucky, one victim was actually left tied to a tree in some woods in Indiana, and the concern has been very severe for FBI and police here in North and South Carolina that if anything like that happened to her, what would happen to her. So we do have news in, however, the course of this one suspect being arrested Chadrick Fulks, picked up in Middleberry, Indiana -- Wolf.
