CATHERINE CALLAWAY, CNN ANCHOR: Let's switch gears a little bit now and talk sports. So what were the highlights of week 12 in the NFL? Week 12, wow.
Jimmy Barrett at WRVA News Radio 1140 in Richmond, Virginia.

Hello, Jimmy.

Good morning.

JIMMY BARRETT, WRVA RADIO CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Catherine.

Happy Thanksgiving in advance.

CALLAWAY: Thank you.

I can't believe we're in week 12 of the NFL.

BARRETT: It's gone by quickly, hasn't it?

CALLAWAY: Yes, it has.

BARRETT: A lot of really, really good races as you take a look down the schedule here. About the only one that's out of hand right now is the NSC North, where the Packers, despite losing yesterday, have a real commanding lead. But the rest of them are real tight so far.

CALLAWAY: What are some of your favorite games, plays this weekend?

BARRETT: Well I like, you know, I watch and suffer the Detroit Lions all the time. You know, it's oftentimes -- but, hey, you can't beat a match up like this. Here's a game, by the way, where you had one team that's lost like 12 straight on the road. That is the Detroit Lions. Nice touchdown there from James Stewart, but the highlights are few and far between for the Detroit Lions in this one, especially when you get into the fourth quarter here, and that's when all H-E-L-L breaks loose.

Here's the touchdown pass. Catch, circuit catch. Jim Miller ended up in the game for the injured Chris Chandler. That was, the catch was by Des White. He had a great ball game, gained over 104 yards. Then he got the field goal there. That ties it in regulation. They go to overtime. Detroit loses. Nice win for the Bears here because the Bears were in danger of setting an all time franchise record for the (UNINTELLIGIBLE)...

CALLAWAY: Oh, man.

BARRETT: If they had lost yesterday, that would have been their ninth in a row, and that would have been an all time record.

CALLAWAY: The Bear fans would not tolerate that, would they?

BARRETT: Not for a home game, no.

The game of the day, though, I've got to give it to Tampa Bay and Green Bay. Now, both those teams 8 and 2 going into that showdown. Tampa Bay got the lead for good on that game with a T.D. pass from Brad Johnson to Joe Jurevicius. You've got to like a name like that. Two point conversion. Here comes that touchdown pass. While -- this is Brett Favre. Brett Favre, that's one of the...

CHAD MYERS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes, that wasn't good.

BARRETT: ... that's one of four interceptions. Four interceptions. That's two weeks in a row that Brett Favre has had a real problem. This is probably another interception. Yes.

CALLAWAY: Wow!

BARRETT: I mean he threw perfect passes, the only problem was...

CALLAWAY: To the wrong guy.

BARRETT: Yes.

MYERS: Yes, how about Johnson & Johnson, though, for the quarterbacks? How about that for Tampa Bay?

BARRETT: Yes, look at this little confrontation after the game. Warren Sapp getting in the face -- well, actually, he was, it was Green Bay's coach getting in Warren Sapp's face. He didn't appreciate that hit that caused an injury during the course of the game, but it was a legal hit.

CALLAWAY: Wow!

BARRETT: A couple other upsets. Cleveland...

CALLAWAY: Yes, the Saints are not doing well. They've having a rough couple of games.

BARRETT: Well, they're still doing pretty good in the division.

CALLAWAY: Right.

BARRETT: But Cleveland had their number yesterday. The Browns over the Saints 24-15. How about those Houston Texans? Upset win over the New York Giants, 16-14 yesterday. And if you didn't see it last night, because you probably fell asleep, coming up in a moment we're going to have a game last night that was played in only weather, Chad, only you could like.

MYERS: Snow?

BARRETT: No, only you -- yes, snow in Denver, Colorado, but you would never ever know. That's from, that's from -- the clip you're seeing right now is from the Giants, Houston, Texas game. George Bush, Sr. was there rooting the Texans on to a victory.

MYERS: Get to the Denver pictures, here.

BARRETT: Yes, let's see some Denver, Colorado, because you've got to like Denver this time of the year. By the way, it pays to have...

CALLAWAY: Oh, that's beautiful.

BARRETT: There's Mike Vanderjagt. You know what? He's from Canada.

MYERS: Yes, so it's a summer day for him.

BARRETT: He doesn't care about the snow. That's 54 yards, this game in over time, 54 yards into the snow in over time, 51 yards away, scored.

CALLAWAY: You know, Jimmy, we're running out of time, but you've got to love that. Fans, everyone having a good time, snow falling. That's football.

BARRETT: That's football weather right there.

CALLAWAY: All right, Jimmy.

BARRETT: Snow.

See you guys later. Have a happy day.

MYERS: I'm glad you got the mock turtleneck memo, too, by the way.

CALLAWAY: I don't think he heard you.

MYERS: No, he's got to get back on the radio.
