CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: Sam Seaborn is leaving television's fictional White House tonight, but despite NBC's sweeps, teases, Rob Lowe isn't quite done with "West Wing" just yet. But let's get the lowdown, so to speak, and other Hollywood buzz from Daryn Devon.
She is an anchoring correspondent for "Extra" the entertainment show based in L.A.

Hi there.

DAYNA DEVON, "EXTRA" REPORTER: Good morning. How are you?

LIN: I'm doing great. Is this going to be the last time we're going to see Rob Lowe.

DEVON: No, it's not going to be the last time we're going to see Rob Lowe. His last episode with "The West Wing" is going to be on March 9th, but for right now, you are going to be seeing less of Rob. They are going to be moving him out of the "West Wing" offices. He is going to be, word is, running for congressional office in Orange County, California. So this could provide a graceful way for Aaron Sorkin to start writing him out of the show if he does, in fact, leave "The West Wing."

LIN: We don't know that for sure, right, I mean, a deal could be cut.

DEVON: Exactly. A deal could be but, and actually even some of the actors have plead with Lowe to stay. Martin Sheen said in an interview, Lowe, the grass is not always greener. Some are saying this could be a big mistake for Lowe to leave "The West Wing" because although he's been offered other pilots by some other networks, but there are few projects as well written and as well produced as Aaron Sorkin's "West Wing," so a lot of people are saying this could be a mistake for him.

LIN: Yes, it is really quality television, given what's out there these days. So if there were a last episode with him, when do you think it might be?

DEVON: That would be in March. Apparently, the last episode with Lowe is scheduled for March, but this is Hollywood, and this could all change.

LIN: Speaking of last episodes, what in the world happened between Nicolas Cage analyst Lisa Marie Presley? This is her third marriage, I think his second, and they were only married what, three months?

DEVON: Right, four months, and you know, I think the particularly shocking thing is she was married to Michael Jackson for 20 months, and this lasted just shy of four months, so very shocking. But you know, they had some real differences. You know, she was a scientologist, he wasn't. He reportedly wanted more children. She didn't. So there were some real problems. also in the 18 months before they got married, they had a kind of rocky relationship, and the tabloids have been reporting lately, that in the last few months, they were having some pretty bitter arguments.

I think it's a terribly huge surprise this marriage is ending. Even Lisa Marie said, this marriage should have never happened.

LIN: You think they would have worked out these issues before they hit the altar.

DEVON: I know.

LIN: Thanks so much, Dayna.

DEVON: You're welcome.

LIN: Dayna Devon from "Extra."
