CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: Speaking of electronics, there are dozens of new products on the store shelves to fill your holiday shopping list. And Steve Kruschen is Mr. Gadget, and he joins us now with a few gift-giving ideas.
And I am going to take all of this home. You saved me a lot of trouble.

STEVE KRUSCHEN, "MR. GADGET": Well, I hope so. Well, we have got something first for the ladies. The ladies are going to love this. This is from (UNINTELLIGIBLE). It is the first massager that combines heat with lotion, and I have already turned that on. You can feel the warmth. All right.

LIN: Oh, yeah.

KRUSCHEN: Now I am going to turn on...

LIN: Not too hot, either.

KRUSCHEN: No. Now I'm going to turn on the massage. You see it dispenses a little bit of lotion, and you can really get into this. Just imagine this is on your neck and on your back when you've had a rough day. Or not. Or when you just want to feel good. Isn't that great?

LIN: Yeah, we should have done this one last. Oh, that was nice.

KRUSCHEN: Doing a great job. Here is some (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(CROSSTALK)

KRUSCHEN: It is only about $40, and they also have a version that is a warm oil massager. So that brings you into a whole different realm, doesn't it?

LIN: Yeah, you can use it as a back massager, too, right?

KRUSCHEN: Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.

LIN: All right. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) get creative.

KRUSCHEN: Now, for dads, I have chosen this is a brand new Remington micro screen, 3 TCT -- stands for total closeness technology -- and what's nice, is it has these three foils that individually adjust to any beard, and this pop-up trimmer, a three-position trimmer, so this gets the long hair before the foils get it. And I have to tell you, it does a great job -- close, fast, comfortable, no irritation. It does a great job, and what's really nice it is only about $79. Cordless, rechargeable.

LIN: And you can take this on the airplane, I think.

KRUSCHEN: Oh, absolutely. I travel with this, and I have another one that I use daily.

Now, here is something that looks like a can opener, but it's no ordinary can opener, I assure you. It's the gizmo, and it's from Black & Decker. And it's cordless and rechargeable as well.

And you can mount it under the overhead cabinets in the kitchen, just like this, but what's nice is you remove it from the holder. And then, you open the can. Instead of taking the can to the can opener, you take the can opener to the can.

LIN: Oh, great, so there is no cranking.

KRUSCHEN: It walks around and stops. Now, just imagine, a can of tuna, you take it over to the sink, turn it over and drain it -- no mess. Or that can of dog food over to the dog bowl, or something that's over, you know, soup over the pot. So just changes the whole way you do things in the kitchen, because now you take the can opener over to where you need it to operate.

And it is only about $27 to $30. That's from Black & Decker. Great, great product. Gizmo.

Now, everybody has got DVDs. Now, I look for something, I love gadgets. I look for something, what more could you want than a whole series of videos that have gadgets? And what better way to do that than the James Bond collection. Because they are full of gadgets. These are seven DVDs, it's from MGM Home Video, full of these gadget (UNINTELLIGIBLE)...

LIN: How much is this, though?

KRUSCHEN: The whole set is $125. You can find it for less online. I found it for as little as $80 online, but it's seven of them, from "Dr. No," "Goldfinger," to Pierce Brosnan favorites like "Goldeneye" and "Tomorrow Never Dies." It's a great way to go, or you can go into the mgm.com Web site and look at some of the other videos in their archives.

The point is that there are great films, old and new, that are coming out on DVD and it's got that extra content that we love so much with -- sometimes you have the scripts, you have interviews with the director, the director actually narrating...

LIN: Oh, you can get the extra bonus. Just make sure that the person you are giving it to has a DVD.

KRUSCHEN: That's true. Now, right over here we have a very small cell phone. This is a brand new cell phone. This is from Siemens. It's a CT56. It's a dual band, GSM phone. That means it's a world phone. And it has enhanced messaging so you can send a picture and sound along with your message. It will also do e-mail and Internet kind of stuff. But what I really like is it has a built-in speaker phone.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Good morning, Mr. Gadget.

LIN: Oh, you've got somebody online.

KRUSCHEN: Yeah, I've got it online right now. Hey, can you hear me all right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yeah, sure can. How are you?

KRUSCHEN: I'm doing fine.

Now, just imagine, instead of having to hold it to your ear, you can actually set it down when you're on those calls from your home or from your office, because everybody uses their cell phones everywhere now, you just set it down on the deck. You don't have a wire to your ear, and you can speak freely.

LIN: You can have a conference call in the park.

KRUSCHEN: Exactly. You can have a conference call in a park. And this is so new, it's coming out the week of December 16, so it is worth the wait. And this is from Siemens. And it's for Cingular. So Cingular dealers will have it, in the range of about $150. I think it's terrific.

LIN: A little high.

KRUSCHEN: Well, actually, for all the features, I think it's quite reasonable.

LIN: All right, I'm sorry, Mr. Gadget, but we have got to end it right there.

KRUSCHEN: There is more information on my Web site, mrgadget.com, and just click on the link to high-tech holidays. And it's all there.

LIN: All right. I'm going for the lotion massager.

KRUSCHEN: I figured you would.

LIN: I think it's about that time of year. Thanks so much.
