CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Time to check out the NFL's week 13 highlights. Boy, that's a switch of subjects, isn't it? We want to check in with our friend Jimmy Barrett at WRVA News Radio 1140 in Richmond, Virginia.
Chad, come on up here. Come on up here.

JIMMY BARRETT, WRVA RADIO CORRESPONDENT: Yes.

CHAD MYERS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: David is in my seat.

COSTELLO: Jimmy?

BARRETT: Come up here, Chad. Join us, Chad.

MYERS: Well, I've got to get David out of my seat.

BARRETT: Hi, Carol.

COSTELLO: Hey, Jimmy, nice to hear from you.

BARRETT: Hey, nice to see you again. I thought you went underground there for a while. I had like a hard time finding you on my television set.

COSTELLO: Well, they were having a hard time finding the ball in Buffalo, too, weren't they? How's that for a segue?

BARRETT: Yes, reason number 2,567 why I'd rather live in Richmond, Virginia.

MYERS: Yes.

BARRETT: If you saw that game at all yesterday, especially the fourth quarter, I mean you couldn't even see from sideline to sideline, just a little bit of snow in this one. Yes, it made it slick but that's OK. You know, the Buffalo Bills know how to play in this weather. The team that had the problem are the fish. Fish do not swim well in snow.

MYERS: Snow, no, no.

COSTELLO: Oh, no.

BARRETT: The Miami Dolphins are like something like two in 10 or two in nine, something like that, when the temperature is 27 degrees or colder. They don't, they don't even like cold weather, let alone snow.

COSTELLO: They did, they just made a lot of mistakes, had a lot of penalties and that's really why they lost.

BARRETT: Yes, we had a great day. Lots of great catches didn't stop. Drew Bledsoe to Eric Moulds for a big touchdown that put Buffalo ahead for good in that one and they needed up by a score of 38-21.

MYERS: I mean you're not going to see, the fourth quarter, though, it started to be a blizzard.

BARRETT: Oh, yes. Well...

COSTELLO: Yes, where are the good pictures? What is that about?

BARRETT: Here's the snow, folks. Of course, we all know what snow looks like, right?

MYERS: I got it.

COSTELLO: Oh, yes, thanks, Jimmy. We appreciate that.

MYERS: You mean there's no lake effect snow off the James River?

BARRETT: No. None. I'm very pleased to report that this morning.

MYERS: Yes.

COSTELLO: Let's talk about another big game, the Giants and the Titans.

BARRETT: I think this is one of the best games of the day. Tennessee was down 26-14 in this one. They make it all the way back, score with less than 10 seconds left in regulation, here it is. Steve McNair to Frank Wycheck for the touchdown. There's some question about whether or not he caught it, but he did. Then a quarterback drop or two point conversion. That tied the game in regulation.

MYERS: Nice.

BARRETT: The Titans went on to win in overtime field goal. Here it comes. Thirty-eight yards out. Joe Nedney. That's the game winner.

COSTELLO: Oh, how exciting.

BARRETT: 22-29, three overtime games yesterday.

COSTELLO: Hey, we must talk about Michael Vick. Did he rush for 173 yards or did I read that wrong?

MYERS: Wow. BARRETT: No, you read that right. If you can't get it...

MYERS: That's a beautiful sight.

BARRETT: If you can't get it done with your arms, get it done with your feet. Here we go. Here he goes. I mean, he's going to change, I think, the prototypical quarterback of the NFL future is going to be just like Michael Vick, if you can find him. There's the game winner in overtime.

COSTELLO: Hey, he's better than James Stewart on the Lions.

BARRETT: Who? The Lions? I never heard of them. They served up, by the way, my second helping of turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

COSTELLO: Oh, yes, it was bad, it was really bad.

MYERS: I thought it was crow, but OK, whatever.

COSTELLO: Yes, exactly.

BARRETT: (UNINTELLIGIBLE), by the way, in that Michael Vic run. San Diego-Denver, that was another overtime thriller, two missed field goals in overtime. And then Steve Christie finally got the game winner on that one. But it was just a back and forth slug fest the whole day. There's Dailey and Tomlinson. He ran for 220 yards.

COSTELLO: Oh, man.

BARRETT: Just an amazing day. Here's the game winner. And, oops, that's one of the blocked ones.

COSTELLO: Yes.

BARRETT: We had two of them blocked in regulation. Here's the other one that's going to miss, wide...

MYERS: Just a little outside.

BARRETT: When you try to hit it from a, you know, over 40 yards, he...

COSTELLO: There it goes. There's the winner. Yes! That's exciting football.

BARRETT: Anybody else interested in changing the rule of kicking field goals in overtime? I, you know, after two teams slug it out for an entire game, wouldn't you rather see them forced to score a touchdown in order to win?

COSTELLO: Exactly. I think that's a great idea.

BARRETT: I would, too.

COSTELLO: Jimmy Barrett, I wish we had more time to talk about that, but we've got to wrap it up. Thank you very much for bringing the...

MYERS: See you J.B. in the a.m.

COSTELLO: That's right.
