CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: The good news this morning, though, that things are clearing up following that big storm, but there could still be travel delays.
Travelocity's Rally Caparas is here with his real time look at airports across the country.

So how long do we have to wait before air travel gets back to normal?

RALLY CAPARAS, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Well, Daryn, it's going to be a few hours for sure. We saw the worst event that we've seen in a long, long time. A lot of flights were diverted to airports other than the intended destinations. A lot of people spending the night in the terminals, as a matter of fact. But by about 5:00, and keep in mind Friday is the busiest travel day of the week so it's going to compound things a little later on today. We will see some delays.

There will be some weather delays scattered across the country. The space shuttle is scheduled to land sometime this afternoon around -- it's somewhere in Florida, so you can expect some short-term delays associated with that, and some insignificant weather today, thank goodness. But by 5:00 today, we should see schedules getting close to what they should have been on a busy, busy Friday.

COSTELLO: So this morning, Rally, all those little dots on that little map are planes. That's just amazing. This morning, specifically, where are the trouble spots?

CAPARAS: Well specifically this morning you're going to see some delays in Boston. Boston's Logan Airport, they're going to see some 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays because of low clouds, some deicing for departure aircraft. Down south, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, they'll see some low clouds and rain all day long to the tune of 15 to 30-minute arrival delays.

And then all the way out west at San Francisco, they start out with Marine layer fog, 30-minute arrival delays, and then that should be gone by noon. But in the later afternoon and evening at San Fran, you'll see some rain and low clouds enter the picture and those 30- minute arrival delays return. But outside of those small delays, it's going to be a much-improved situation for those frustrated travelers that are still in airports.

COSTELLO: Oh, you're not kidding. Rally, thanks, we appreciate it.

CAPARAS: Sure.
