LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: What she is talking about is the reunion of the sailors and Marines who are onboard the USS George Washington. They pulled into port in Norfolk, and our Bob Franken is out there in the rain with them, and he's out there with some happy faces in the rain.
DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: And walkie talkies.

BOB FRANKEN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes, lots of happy people, and walkie talkies. This is Micah Warner (ph), the walkie talkie woman, and wife of sailor...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Karl (ph) Warner.

FRANKEN: Karl (ph) Warner.

And they couldn't wait, as you pointed out, for him to land. So she's been talking to him by walkie talky. I'd like to ask you to have him wave right now.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hey, Karl (ph), can you wave real quick please?

FRANKEN: Now, this is a moment, folks. This is the reunion before the reunion.

Excited?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I'm so excited!

FRANKEN: And I see you dressed up for the occasion.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I tried, and forget it. This is silly.

FRANKEN: And this is Zachary. Not at all amused?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, not at all. This is crazy. But we're really excited. He couldn't ask for a better Christmas present.

FRANKEN: Is this the first time out?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

FRANKEN: Reporter: been a long six months, huh?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Very long six months.

FRANKEN: You want to share more communications with your husband before we let you alone?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No. Thank you.

FRANKEN: No, not that I blame her. Micah Warner (ph), waiting to see her husband and talking to him on walkie talkie.
